Mr Olanrewaju (‘Lanre) Abdulsalam

Mr Olanrewaju Abdulsalam is a multifaceted Legal Counsel with in-depth experience in Legal and Company Secretariat. He has provided these services to several companies, including the Leadway Group of Companies, where he headed the Legal/Company Secretariat Department. He is distinguished by his outstanding Organisational, Analytical, Communication and Writing skills. Olanrewaju is passionate about the existence of good Corporate Governance Practices in organisations and understands that this ensures sustainability and business continuity. His role has included drawing up Contract Agreements, Claims Review, Litigation Management and offering Legal Opinion to the Company and its subsidiaries.He joined Xpress Payments in 2021, assuming the position of Company Secretary/Legal Adviser. With his strong ethical values, he takes responsibility for preparation of the Company’s Board meetings within the statutory period, while also advising the Company on Regulatory, Governance and Compliance issues. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria as well as a Member of Nigerian Bar Association
